A Houston resident since his toddler years, Joe has worked in sales all of his adult life. But only after James Piper recruited him to work for Southern Funding Alliance four years ago did he learn that mortgage lending is the perfect fit for him. "My family has always been in sales and I grew up knowing that is what I wanted to do,"says Joe. And then he adds, "but mortgage lending is different. Every day is a new day with lots of changes. The work is interesting and fun. It's a great career because I get to work with people who appreciate what I do. There's nothing better than to see the look in someone's eyes who appreciates what you've done for them." Joe's life is about to change. He recently became engaged to his high school sweetheart. According to Joe she fits right into his competitive lifestyle. The youngest of three brothers, Joe has been competing all of his life. Basketball. Softball. Bowling. Golf. Tennis.
